Welcome the Pollies 2 Feb 2021
Parliament will be returning on 2 February and Canberra's climate action groups will be there again lining the streets to "welcome" them back! Stop Adani Canberra will be covering the Melbourne Ave entrance to Parliament and XR ACT will be covering the Kings Ave entrance.

About the Event
Parliament will be returning on 2 February and Canberra's climate action groups will be there again lining the streets to "welcome" them back!
Stop Adani Canberra will be covering the Melbourne Ave entrance to Parliament and XR ACT will be covering the Kings Ave entrance.
It will also be an opportunity to support the PCA's #GreenRecoveryNow petition - including heading up to the rally in support of the petition on the Parliamentary lawns - which starts at 9am straight after the Welcome the Pollies (please note that, for the rally, there is a Covid 19 requirement that all rally attendees register in advance via the PCA website here: https://www.peoplesclimateassembly.org/actions ).
We need to remind our pollies that Climate Change hasn't gone away. We demand the same level of engagement and action they have given to the COVID-19 crisis.
WE DO NOT WANT OR NEED A GAS RECOVERY!
We are asking that they: listen to the experts, tell the truth and take action now! We demand that they Build Back Better.
